MY Therapy Style

Guiding each participant in the relationship to a place of compassion and understanding for each other has been a very rewarding experience for me in my career.

Issues such as anticipation, unresolved conflicts, sadness, parenthood, worries, relationship dissatisfaction, break ups and loss, trauma, or other adverse life experiences can make life feel overwhelming. These moments can torment the best of us and yet are not uncommon-in other words: you are not alone.

What you (and your partner, spouse, best friend) are going through now is a chapter in your book, but certainly not the whole story. As a trained licensed Psychotherapist, I can offer you a safe, comforting place to explore your situation, heal from pain, and have the life you(both) desire. I am here to guide you through any obstacles you may face. My goal is to help you understand yourself more deeply, better cope with change and find the happiness, balance and calm you deserve.

MY approach

My approach is psychodynamic. I graduated from the Wright Institute in 2009. I have been trained in Perinatal mental health issues that not only affect the mother who had the child, but her partner as well through the Seleni Institute 2019. I have also been trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Functional Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy And Motivational Interviewing. I also am multi-cultural and multi-racial and speak Spanish fluently.

I love people and I come into every session with a relaxed, positive outlook. And see all my clients with love, understanding and compassion. I love anything that has been created on a whim with no instruction whether that’s a gnarled tree trunk, a new mother, a marriage.

We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time.
