THEORETICAL ORIENTATIONS
Psychodynamic Therapy with a strong Attachment Lens, integrating Internal Family Systems, Cognitive
Behavior therapy (including Mindfulness), Motivational Interviewing and Emotionally Focused Therapy
As a conflict resolution specialist and trained mediator, I have explored how to navigate challenging disputes and deep-rooted identity-based conflicts between nations, between ethnic or religious divides, and more. I believe that there are many overlaps in the deep-rooted disputes that we develop over time in our love relationships.
I am not shy to help clients explore challenging and even destructive relational patterns. I believe that our abilities to navigate relationships is a core aspect of a full and happy life, and that we have the ability to transform our relational patterns and heal. I integrate psychodynamic, attachment work with relationship skill-building and communication strategies to help clients in relationships at any stage to heal challenging patterns, rediscover intimacy, or work preventatively to set up a strong base from which to grow as a couple.
I work with individuals, couples, and families. I welcome those from the LGBTQ+ and non-monogamous or polyamorous communities as well as those navigating immigration challenges or cross-cultural experiences. People who have historically been left out of therapeutic healing due to systemic forces are especially welcomed.
