THERAPIST

Adrienne Martin, MFT

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing therapy to adults and couples. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for individuals and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples, helping clients gain insight, heal emotionally, and create lasting change.

In my individual work, I support adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and major life transitions. Using CBT, I help clients identify unhelpful patterns of thinking and behavior, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop more compassionate and empowering ways of relating to themselves.

With couples, my work is grounded in EFT and attachment theory. I help partners better understand their attachment styles, heal old emotional wounds, and break negative interactional cycles that often lead to disconnection, conflict, or withdrawal. Together, we focus on strengthening emotional bonds, increasing safety and trust, and fostering more secure, responsive relationships.

My clinical background includes working with adults, veterans, individuals with substance use and mental health concerns, and clients in crisis residential settings. I strive to create a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel supported, understood, and empowered to move forward

We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time.
